Submitting Meet Results to Swimcloud

Swimcloud accepts official, complete meet results directly from teams, coaches, and meet officials.

Results are not automatically synced with USA Swimming’s SWIMS database. Meet results must be submitted to Swimcloud in an accepted file format to be published.

TL;DR: For multi-team meets, Swimcloud requires a complete results file. Results are not pulled from SWIMS and must be submitted directly to Swimcloud to be published.

✅ Accepted File Types

Result files must include all teams that participated in the meet.
Single-team result files are not accepted unless the meet was explicitly set up as an intrasquad.

Accepted file types include:

  • Hy-Tek Meet Manager: Zipped result file, standalone  .cl2 or .sd3

  • TeamUnify TouchPad: .sd3

  • SwimTopia Meet Maestro: .hy3 or .sd3

    • Note: When submitting results from SwimTopia, the meet should be created on Swimcloud before uploading the results file. SwimTopia’s .hy3 file does not include enough meet metadata for Swimcloud to create the meet automatically.

  • Lenex: .len

  • Splash: .xml

  • PDFs, screenshots, or HTML files

  • Exports from Hy-Tek Team Manager

How to Submit Results

1. Use Swimcloud Meet Manager (Recommended)


Meets run using Swimcloud Meet Manager are published automatically and updated in real time.

2. Upload Results from Another Meet Management System

This option is available to the meet administrator of a meet that has already been created on Swimcloud.

After the meet (or session) is complete:

  1. Create a complete results file from your meet management software

  2. Email the file to results@swimcloud.com

If the file matches a meet on our schedule and all participating teams are properly listed, results typically appear within a few minutes.

Files that do not match a scheduled meet or contain team mismatches may require manual review by Swimcloud staff or your Regional Administrator, and processing may take longer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Scenario 1: The results are showing in SWIMS but not on Swimcloud

Swimcloud does not sync with USA Swimming’s SWIMS database. Results must be submitted directly to Swimcloud to be published.

Solution: Submit a complete meet results file to Swimcloud using one of the supported submission methods.

Scenario 2: I tried uploading separate result files for each team

Swimcloud requires a single, complete results file that includes all participating teams for multi-team meets.

Solution: Ask the meet administrator to export and submit one complete results file.

Scenario 3: I submitted results, but they haven’t appeared yet

Results that do not match a scheduled meet or contain team mismatches may require manual review by Swimcloud staff or your Regional Administrator.

Solution: Confirm the meet exists on Swimcloud and that team names in the file match the teams listed on the meet page.

Scenario 4: My name appears incorrectly in the results

This usually means there are duplicate or mismatched athlete profiles in Swimcloud.

Solution: Email support@swimcloud.com with links to both profiles, and Swimcloud staff will merge them.

Scenario 5: I’m not sure who should submit the results

For meets created on Swimcloud, only the meet administrator can upload and process results directly on the meet.

Solution: Coordinate with the meet administrator or submit the complete results file to results@swimcloud.com.

Scenario 6: I’m still stuck or not sure what went wrong

Some result files require additional review due to meet setup issues, team mismatches, or file formatting differences between meet management systems.

Solution: Email results@swimcloud.com or support@swimcloud.com with a link to the meet and the results file attached, and Swimcloud staff or your Regional Admin
