Times on a swimmer's profile come from one of three sources.
- Swimcloud Meet Manager Synching - If a meet is using Swimcloud's Meet Manager a swimmer's times will be updated in real time.
- Meet Director Uploads - If a meet is using other meet meet management software, Swimcloud updates times and rankings after the complete result files have been submitted. Learn how to submit meet result files.
Manually Entering Times
When official results are unavailable, a swimmer can manually update their times. This feature requires a Swimcloud+ subscription. Please note that manually-entered times will not appear on publicly viewable top times lists or receive Time Standard Tags.
Please Note:
- Results are not connected to the SWIMS database. The SWIMS database is maintained by USA Swimming and completely separate from Swimcloud.
- Swimcloud does not scrape results from third-party sources.
- We are unable to upload results from a photo, meet mobile, PDF or HTML file. You can learn more about the types of result files we can upload.
How can I remove old times from my profile?
Official meet results are permanent records and cannot be removed. Having older times on your profile can demonstrate your progress over time. Remember, slower times do not negatively impact your Power Index or Recruit Ranking.
