When you register, we try to match you to any swim history already on Swimcloud. Most of the time this works — but if something doesn't match closely enough to what's already on file, we create a new profile instead of connecting you to your existing one.
How to tell if this happened to you
- Your new profile shows no times, meets, or results, even though you've competed before
- You see two separate Swimcloud profiles under your name
How to fix it
This is easy to resolve — we just need to merge the profiles for you. Submit a request with the following information so we can take care of it in one step:
- Your full name (as it appears on both profiles, if different)
- Your team name
- Your date of birth
- Links to both Swimcloud profiles, if you have them (the web address for each one works — you can copy it from your browser)
This isn't something you did wrong — it just means our system couldn't confidently match you automatically. Once we have the details above, we'll merge everything into one profile.
