When result files are received from a meet, swimmers' profiles are automatically updated. If your times are missing it is most likely because we have not received the results. If we are unable to receive the results you will need to manually update your times.
Missing Meet Results
Check the status of your meet by visiting the meet page
- If the meet says “Not Submitted”, it means we have not received the meet result file. Ask the meet hosts to send the results to results@swimcloud.com. You can learn more about how to submit results here.
- If the meet is “Completed” but your times are still missing, there may be a name mismatch. Check if your name appears differently. If a duplicate profile exists, please send us the links to both your profile and the duplicate, and we will merge them.
Manually Entering Times
Swimmers can also manually update their times. To maintain accuracy, ensure fairness and prevent fraudulent activity, a varsity account is required to manually add times to a swimmer's profile. To do so:
- Click on the “Meets” tab at the top of the page.
- Search for or create the meet.
- Click “Update My Times” on the far right of the meet name.
- Enter all your times from this meet.
- Do not enter converted times. Our system will convert them
- Do not enter relay splits.
- Do not add fake times. This will result in your profile being suspended and coaches being notified.
If you make a mistake, just remove the time that was entered incorrectly, and re-add it. The same goes for the meet itself. If you entered the wrong date, or the wrong course (SCY, SCM, LCM), just delete the meet and start again.
Note that manually-entered times:
- will count toward your Recruiting Power Index
- will not show up on publicly viewable top-times lists
- will not be considered, or marked, with a Time-Standard Tag
