Swimmers can register on Swimcloud and claim their swimmer profile for free. A registered swimmer can enter his or her email address and other pertinent information for collegiate recruiting purposes.
Visit www.swimcloud.com/register, or from the Swimcloud homepage, click on the Register link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and follow the instructions as shown below:
Parents
- Parents should not register for a Swimcloud account. Use your email address to register. Collegiate recruiters want to communicate with you, not your parents
-
When registering, use the exact name that is used in your meet entries / results. This will help to ensure that your official meet results upload to your profile. You have the option of adding a nickname to your profile. For example, if your name is Alexander Anderson or Alexandra Anderson but you go by "Alex." When registering, enter your full name. That way we can match you with the correct profile. Then, enter "Alex" as your nickname.
How does Swimcloud already have my information?
Swimcloud creates swimmer profiles from meet result files that get submitted to us by coaches, meet administrators, and swimming organizations all across the world.
More than likely, Swimcloud already has your swimming results and team information and all that you need to do is claim that account.
Creating face profiles
Creating false profiles and or imitating another swimmer is a violation of Swimcloud's terms of service. Individuals found in violation of this will be subject to suspension and notification of authorities.
