At Swimcloud, our mission is to support swimmers, coaches, and fans everywhere by making swimming data accurate and accessible. Because every region has unique needs, we work closely with trusted local experts—Regional Administrators—to help ensure results, teams, and rankings are correct for their area.
2025 Update
Beginning in 2025, Swimcloud will appoint Regional Administrators only when a formal partnership agreement has been established with an Organization, Association, or Local Swimming Committee (LSC).
These partnerships set clear expectations for both parties, may include a financial component, and are designed to protect the integrity and accuracy of Swimcloud’s data.
Because Regional Administrators have deeper access to meet and coach data, it’s important that each association formally designates who will serve in this role. This ensures that data access is properly managed, traceable, and secure—protecting both the organization’s information and the athletes it represents.
What Regional Administrators Do
Regional Administrators play a key role in keeping Swimcloud running smoothly. With access to administrative tools, they can:
Approve and verify coaches
Manage teams and team codes
Merge duplicate swimmer profiles
Maintain regional records and sub-regions
Process meet result files for their area
By doing this, Regional Administrators help ensure local athletes and teams are represented accurately, and that Swimcloud remains a trusted source of swimming data nationwide.
Why It Matters
Accurate data powers recognition, rankings, and recruiting. When results are right, swimmers get the credit they deserve, coaches save time, and fans stay engaged.
Through formal partnerships and designated administrators, Swimcloud can maintain the security, accuracy, and accountability that the swimming community depends on.
