Anna Moesch - 200 Freestyle
This month, our own Kevin Kinel took a deep dive into one of the standout swims of November—Anna Moesch’s 1:40.25 200 freestyle from the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge.
This was a well-crafted swim that dropped nearly two full seconds from her fifth-place finish at last year's NCAA Championships.

Underwaters
Moesch spent more than a quarter of the race (about 54.5 yards) underwater with an average 2.89 m/s underwater velocity compared to 1.76 m/s on the surface, giving her free speed off every wall.
Stroke Tempo
She opened the race with a long, efficient stroke—holding 2.84 meters per stroke through the first 125 yards—before smartly tightening to about 2.52 meters per stroke over the final 75 as she lifted her tempo.
