Meets are used for a team or region's meet schedule, for accepting and creating entries, running a meet on Swimcloud Meet, and most importantly results. There are three ways to create a meet:
- Using the Meet Builder - This is the most powerful and flexible method of adding a meet. The Meet Builder will help you set up everything from the meet's name to its location, opponents, dates, and events along with entry, qualifying and scoring rules.
- Cloning A Meet - Cloning a meet lets you save time by duplicating a pre-existing meet. This is especially useful for larger meets with more events and event rules.
- Uploading an Invitation or Event File - Uploading an event or invitation file is not recommended as these files do not contain important information like opponents and meet rules. However, uploading an event or invitation file allows you to use Swimcloud for meet entries even if the meet host is not.
Once your meet is created, you will set up the Meet Rules to ensure the meet is set up the way you want your meet to run.
Using Meet Builder
Swimcloud's Meet Builder offers you the greatest flexibility when adding a meet. With the Meet Builder you set up every aspect of the meet including the meet name and location, opponents date, event list, and entry, qualifying and and scoring rules.

Upload an Invitation (event) file
You can also create a meet on Swimcloud from a Hy-tek .ev3 event file or a .lxf Lenex invitation file.
Please note: Oftentimes, the Hy-tek .ev3 file is contained inside a zipped folder. You must first extract the .ev3 file.
