There are some common misconceptions on how results are uploaded to a swimmer's profile, and we'd love to help bring understanding and clarity to how we upload results.
Misconception 1: We upload results directly from USA Swimming.
This is false. We upload meet files that are emailed directly to us by coaches or meet administrators. If your results are missing, it most likely means that we have not received the file for that meet.
Misconception 2: We can upload swimmer results from a photo from meet mobile or a PDF.
Unfortunately, no we cannot upload results from these file types. We only upload Hytek .zip results files- this file must contain the results from the entire meet, not just one swimmer or one team's results.
Misconception 3: My results will be uploaded if I purchase the Varsity Account upgrade for my swimmer profile.
This is also false. The Varsity Account upgrade gives you access to special tools to help you find a University that best fits you. It's very valuable when comparing universities and filtering out universities that do not fit within your unique preferences. This upgrade is a one-time fee of $19.99 . Once you upgrade, you won't pay the fee again.
The best way to get your results uploaded to your profile, is to ask your coach to email the Hytek.zip results file (for the entire meet) to results@swimcloud.com If the file is the correct type, it will begin to auto-upload as soon as it gets to our inbox.
Additionally, you can ask your meet administrator to email the file as well, following each meet.
If a file is unattainable, please feel free to manually add your times. We will recognize these times as correct, and will put them towards your Power Index score just like we would official results. We highly recommend getting those official results added, but we understand that this is not always possible, and want to make sure you get credit for your swims.
Happy uploading!

how do you manually add your times if the meet results are not showing up?
HELP! I have an issue. My 52.98 second 100Y Freestyle result was incorrectly uploaded as a 50Y Freestyle instead. This now means that my rankings are not as high as they should be since that was my PB. Is there any way that this can be corrected?
